Full throttle for ECO Experience
Tom Montgomery-Swan, powerboat record holder and head of the TOP YACHTS Lifestyle division, was once again pushing himself and his boat to the limit, competing in a new experimental race class.
Racing in Stewartby, UK, Tom competed in a new race class, aimed to promote “Green”/Eco friendly racing. This was a new challenge for Tom, as the craft were very different to what he was used too; Being small but high powered, reaching speeds of over 75Knots on a tight circuit course.
The weekend saw Tom rapidly progress through the field, getting to grips with this new agile and flighty craft. The weekend finished with Team Linley & TOP YACHTS Finishing in 3rd place overall.
